Apparently the way to start writing again when you're completely stuck is to start at the end and work your way backwards. After I spent a week stuck on a fic I skipped to the final scene, which I'd pretty much already written in my head, and that came easily. Then I wrote the paragraphs before the final scene. When I write Five Times fic, I pay attention to pov order. Maybe the characters alternate, maybe one character bookends the story while the other fills in the middle sections, once it was three scenes from one character followed by three scenes from the other, but there's always some sort of pattern to it ( Read more... )
